A 15-song cycle by Dan Bern, adapted from the letters, essays and poems of the Western folk legend Everett Ruess. The songs comprise the soundtrack for the upcoming documentary film "Wilderness Song" (Way of the West Productions), produced by Jonathan Demme and directed by Lindsay Jaeger. Dan Bern will premiere the songs live at the Everett Ruess Festival in Escalante, Utah on September 28.
